I love taking this bath when I am feeling bloated or sore. I find the epsom salt pulls out excess water weight and built up lactic acid for almost immediate relief but it can also be very tiring (almost the same feeling you have after a long massage) so I suggest doing these closer to bed time. Make sure to drink a lot of water after this bath and avoid dehydrating foods like table salt, alcohol, soda, and caffeine. 

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Epsom Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Baking Soda
  • 2 Tbl Ground Ginger
  • 2 Tbl bentonite clay (optional but it will help absorb any chemicals in your water so they aren’t absorbed into the skin.

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a hot bath and stir around to combine. 
  2. Soak for 20-40 minutes 
  3. Towel dry vigorously to stimulate toxin release. 
  4. Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate.
